Clydesdale Spur EMTB1 - XT Linkglide 11s - Titanium Electric Mountain Bike

The Clydesdale Spur EMTB1 combines a durable titanium frame, 29-inch (27.5" on the S/M) wheels, and a high-torque Bosch Performance Line CX drive unit in an e-mountain bike designed for big and/or tall riders. Shimano XT Linkglide 11-speed components complete the drivetrain.

Available in S/M, L/XL, 2XL/3XL, and 4XL/5XL sizes, the Spur accommodates riders up to 7’5" tall and 450 pounds. Proportional length cranks support efficient pedaling, while extra-wide handlebars accommodate broad shoulders.

One bike for a wide range of riding

From singletrack and fire roads to bikepacking, commuting, and riding around town, the Spur is a versatile option for riders who need a bike built around their size. Its Bosch Performance Line CX motor provides high-torque assistance for demanding terrain and everyday rides alike.

Room for high-volume tires

The titanium frame offers clearance for tires up to 3.0 inches. That generous tire volume provides added traction, cushioning, and stability on uneven terrain. Riders have the versatility to use any tire size from 2.3" to 3.0" to optimize for terrain and riding style. 

Custom-built wheels for heavier riders

We build each wheel in our Colorado shop using Clydesdale hubs rated for riders up to 450 pounds. Each wheel features 36 double-butted spokes and DT Swiss brass Pro Lock nipples to help maintain spoke tension and keep the wheel true over time.

Our professional wheelbuilders use precision truing stands, spoke wrenches, and spoke tension meters to carefully build and tension every wheel.

Semi-Custom for a perfect fit

Clydesdale bikes use set frame sizes, with fit adjustments tailored to the rider. Rather than building a custom frame, we work from your fit requirements and select from the components we keep in stock.

• Fit adjustments: We customize crank length, stem length and angle, spacer stack, saddle width, and handlebar selection based on your fit.
• Accent colors: You can choose colors for the headset, spacers, and seat binder, plus handlebar tape on builds that use it.
• Wheels and tires: We select a wheelset and tires suited to your type of riding. We offer several tire options; contact us for the current selection.
• Frame Color: Frames come in bare titanium with anodized graphics. You can pay extra to have the bike painted any color you want. Please ask us for pricing on a custom paint job. 

Frame size is the starting point. These adjustments let us tailor the bike’s contact points to you. After you place your order, we’ll send instructions for submitting your measurements or arranging an in-person bike fit.
